On Wednesday 20th February The Horticultural Society hosted Vicky and Richard Cox from Plantagogo for a talk about entitled ‘A Passion for Heucheras’ at St Peter’s School in Rossett.

 Vicky did the talking and very entertaining she was.  A first for us – she took a photograph of the 28 people attending before she started her talk.  One of her photographs is attached.  She showed some splendid examples of heucheras, heucherenias and tearellas that lit up enthusiasm for members to buy one or more for their own garden from the stock she and Richard had brought along.  They welcome visitors to their nursery at Englessea Brook, Crewe but it is best to book first.  The website is https://www.plantagogo.com

 Fiona Morris proposed the vote of thanks and the evening ended after tea and biscuits with much socialising.
