Spring Show 2023
/The Society had its annual June show and plant sale on Saturday 10th at St Peter’s School. The school choir opened the show and were much appreciated.
There were a good number of exhibitors and quality entries for this small show so early in the year and after such a spell of dry often cold wind. The plant sale was well supported both with donations of plants from members and by customers buying. The funds generated will help to support the annual show on 26th August at Darland High School.
Val Overson swept the board winning not just the ‘best in show’ trophy but also the points trophy. Well done Val!
